Privacy Policy

WallStone — Live Wallpaper Maker
Effective date: 23 September 2026 · Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains what WallStone (“the app”, “we”, “us”) does with information when you use it on your iPhone. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer.

The short version. WallStone has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect, store or sell your personal information. Your photos, videos and recordings never leave your device — the wallpapers you make are rendered on your iPhone and saved to your own photo library. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.

1. Information we do not collect

We want to be specific rather than vague, so here is what we genuinely do not do:

2. Photos, camera and microphone

The app asks for these permissions only at the moment you use a feature that needs them, and it keeps working (minus that feature) if you decline.

Everything you record or select is processed entirely on your device. Trimming, framing and rendering all happen locally. No photo, video, recording or wallpaper you create is ever uploaded to us or to anyone else.

3. Information stored on your device

The app keeps a small amount of data locally, in its own sandboxed storage, where no other app can read it:

None of this is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app removes all of it from your iPhone. You can also delete individual wallpapers from the in-app Library at any time.

4. Content downloaded from our servers

Wallpapers and live wallpapers are delivered over HTTPS from our content delivery network at cdn-games.dailymorningupdate.com.

Like every web server, it writes standard technical logs when a file is requested: the IP address of the request, the time, the file requested and a basic device/connection descriptor. These logs exist to deliver files, measure bandwidth and protect against abuse. They are not linked to any identity — the request carries no account, no advertising identifier and no device identifier from us — and they are not used to build a profile of you or shared for marketing.

5. Rating prompt and sharing

The Rate Us option and the occasional review prompt use Apple's own StoreKit review sheet. Apple handles it; the app never sees your rating or your review. Share App simply opens the standard iOS share sheet — what you do from there is between you and the app you share to.

6. If you email us

When you use Settings › Report a Bug, your Mail app opens a pre-filled message containing the app version and build, your iOS version and your device model — nothing else, and you can edit or delete any of it before sending. If you choose to send it, we receive your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it only to answer you and to fix the problem, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we delete support correspondence once the issue is closed.

7. Children

WallStone is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California — you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing.

In practice, because we hold no personal data about you: the data is on your device and under your control. Deleting the app erases everything the app stored. If you want to exercise a right formally, or ask what we hold, email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days. We have never sold or shared personal information, and we never will.

9. Security

All content is fetched over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your created wallpapers live inside the app's sandbox, protected by iOS file protection and by your device passcode. Because we store nothing on our side, there is no account of yours for anyone to breach.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and move the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
