Terms & Conditions
These terms are the agreement between you and Shruti Kapuriya (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the WallStone iOS app and everything in it. By downloading, opening or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please delete the app.
1. Your licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use WallStone on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. The app is licensed to you, not sold.
2. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the app or its content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
- Scrape, bulk-download or republish our wallpaper or video library, or access our servers by any means other than the app.
- Use the app to create or distribute material that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights.
- Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or the servers that supply it.
3. Content in the library
The wallpapers, live wallpapers, artwork, icons and text supplied in the app are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may download and use them for your own personal, non-commercial use — as your wallpaper or your lock screen.
You may not resell them, bundle them into another app or product, claim them as your own work, or redistribute them as a wallpaper pack. The library changes over time: items may be added, updated or withdrawn without notice.
If you believe something in the app infringes your copyright, email us with the item and your evidence of ownership and we will remove it promptly while we investigate.
4. Content you create or supply
When you record a clip or pick a video from your library, that content stays yours. It is processed only on your device and is never uploaded to us, so we acquire no rights in it and take no responsibility for it.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use whatever you feed into the Maker. Do not use footage of other people without their consent, and do not use material you do not own or have a licence for.
5. What iOS does and does not allow
How a live wallpaper behaves once set — including whether it animates on a given device, iOS version or Lock Screen style, and how Low Power Mode or Reduce Motion affect it — is controlled by iOS and is outside our control.
6. Permissions
The app requests access to your camera, microphone and photo library only for the features described in the Privacy Policy. You may refuse or later withdraw any of these in iOS Settings; the rest of the app will keep working.
7. Price and purchases
This version of WallStone is free and contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertising. If paid features are introduced later, their price and terms will be shown to you before you buy, and any purchase will be handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service — refunds are therefore Apple's to grant, not ours.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any part of the content library at any time. Features depend on an internet connection and on our content servers, which may occasionally be unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use the app at your own risk. We recommend keeping your own backups of anything important — including wallpapers you make, which are stored only on your device.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, footage, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app (which for this version is nothing) or USD 10. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or content you supply to the Maker in breach of someone else's rights.
12. Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the app. You can end them at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach them materially. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 14 survive termination.
13. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple is not responsible for any claim relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed as a prohibited party, as required by the App Store Terms of Service.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protections you enjoy under the law of your own country of residence.
15. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the app.
16. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms; the revised version takes effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will change. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the revision.
