Live Wallpaper Maker for iPhone

Need a person? Email kapuriyashruti9@gmail.com — we reply within two business days, usually the same day.

It helps a lot if you include your iPhone model, your iOS version and the app version (Settings › the bottom of the screen). The fastest way is Settings › Report a Bug inside the app, which fills all of that in for you.

Getting started

How do I make a live wallpaper from my own video?

  1. Open the Maker tab.
  2. Tap Library to pick a video you already have, or Record to film a new clip.
  3. Drag the handles to trim it down to the part you want.
  4. Choose Fill (crops to fill the screen) or Fit (shows the whole frame). The phone-shaped preview shows exactly what you will get.
  5. Tap the check button, then Save. It lands in your in-app Library and in Photos as a Live Photo.

How do I actually set it as my wallpaper?

iOS does not let any app change your wallpaper for you, so the last two taps are yours:

  1. Open Photos and find the Live Photo WallStone saved.
  2. Tap Share › Use as Wallpaper.
  3. Make sure LIVE is switched on — that is what makes it move.
  4. Adjust the position if you like, then tap Set.

The same steps are in the app under Settings › Wallpaper Guide.

Troubleshooting

My live wallpaper does not move

Nearly always one of these:

The app says it cannot save my wallpaper

WallStone needs permission to add to your photo library. Open iOS Settings › WallStone › Photos and allow access, then try again. Also check you have free storage — a live wallpaper is a video file.

The camera or Record button does not work

Open iOS Settings › WallStone and turn on Camera (and Microphone, which the recorder needs). Recording is not available in the iOS Simulator or on a device whose camera is restricted by Screen Time.

Wallpapers will not load, or the grid is empty

The library streams from our servers, so it needs an internet connection the first time. Check your connection, pull down to refresh, and try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it stays empty for more than a few minutes, email us — it may be our end.

My saved wallpapers disappeared

Wallpapers you make are stored on your device only, inside the app. Deleting and reinstalling the app, or offloading it, removes them. Anything you also saved to Photos is still in Photos.

The app is in the wrong language

Open Settings › Language in the app and pick from the 12 available: English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Vietnamese and Turkish.

Privacy and data

Do you see my photos or videos?

No. Everything you record or pick is processed on your iPhone and never leaves it. We have no servers that receive your media, and there is no account to upload it to. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual wallpapers from the in-app Library, or delete the app — that removes everything it stored. We hold nothing on our side to delete.

Is there a subscription?

No. This version is free, with no in-app purchases and no ads.
